HP-UX Integrated Login

Deactivating HP-UX Integrated Login

To deactivate HP-UX Integrated Login and remove the authentication

policy on a system, do the following:

1. Log in as root and issue the following command:

/usr/sbin/auth.adm -u[ninstall]

auth.adm restores the old version of /etc/pam.conf.

2. Inspect the ﬁle /var/adm/ilogin/auth.adm.log for ERROR

messages. If there are ERROR messages, correct the error conditions

and repeat step 1.
