Compatibility Among Versions of HP-UX DCE

HP-UX DCE 1.9 is compatible with all previous versions of HP-UX DCE.

HP-UX DCE 1.9 does not support DFS (supplied with HP-UX DCE 1.5 and earlier HP-UX DCE versions).

Interoperability with Other Implementations of OSF DCE

HP-UX DCE 1.9 is interoperable with a variety of other implementations of OSF DCE running on various

platforms. Refer Chapter 1 of Planning and Conﬁguring HP-UX DCE 1.9 (B3190-90076) for more

information.
