1.2 Features and Benefits
CMGR has the following features and benefits:
• Manages and tracks specific configuration changes for a subsystem or application.
• Associate configuration changes across multiple subsystems and applications.
• Provides configuration life-cycle interface (add, delete, replace, list).
• User defined, XML based templates for defining and associating configuration actions.
• Plug-in architecture to allow you to add configuration management of additional subsystems
and applications.
1.3 Installing CMGR
The HP-UX Configuration Synchronization Manager (cmgr) is part of the HP-UX-SRP bundle. The HP-
