-U or –user=<name>
Specifies the user name.
-s or –configfile=<path>
Specifies the alternative path name of the Samba
configuration file.
-l or –long
Displays full information on each item when listing data.
-V or –version
Prints Samba version information.
-P or –machine-pass
Authenticate as the machine account.
-C or –comment=<comment>
Specifies the descriptive comments. This option is only
valid for the ADD operation.
-c
Specifies the LDAP container when adding a user to the
LDAP directory server. The default value is cn=Users.
help
Prints a summary of command line options and usage.
Examples
Run the following command to create a Samba user account for the user cifsuser1:
$ net rpc user ADD cifsuser1
Run the following command to delete a Samba account for the user cifsuser2:
$ net rpc user DELETE cifsuser2
Run the following command to list the domain groups for the user cifsuser3:
$ net rpc user INFO cifsuser3
