• ldapsam: Attribute rich account storage and retrieval backend
utilizing an LDAP directory. This makes use of a different schema
than what had been provided with A.01.* versions.
• ldapsam_compat : An LDAP storage and retrieval backend utilizing
an LDAP directory and is compatible with A.01.* versions. This
backend makes use of the same schema provided with A.01.*
versions.
New Account Management Tools (version A.02.01)
HP CIFS Server A.02.01 supports new and changed utilities including
pdbedit, net commands, smbldap tools, and smbpasswd to manage user
account information. The net commands provide numerous new utility
operations and replace others. For more information on how to use the
