Home Drive Mapping Support
The HP CIFS Server, configured as a BDC, provides user home
directories and home drive mapping functionality by using the following
two global parameters in the smb.conf file:
• logon home
• logon drive
Example:
[global]
logon drive = H:
logon home = \\%PDCNAME\%U
NOTE logon drive: This drive letter is mapped to the share referenced by the
logon home configuration parameter.
logon home: This parameter must be set to same server\share as the
PDC does.
