Edition

The edition documents the following enhancements for the HP CIFS

Server 2.2i version A.01.11.01:

• Support for enabling the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) connections to

the LDAP directory server

• Support for new conﬁguration parameter, ldap ssl, speciﬁed in the

smb.conf ﬁle to enable the SSL feature

• Support for two new options, -Z, and -S, for all LDAP management

tools located in the /opt/samba/LDAP/smbldap-tools directory
