SMB Over TCP
This feature eliminates the use of the NetBIOS Session Service in CIFS client-server connections.
This is the default on current Windows clients. SMB-over-TCP is turned off by default in the HP CIFS
Client. This feature is not supported by Windows NT servers. For detailed information on how to
configure this feature in networks with and without NT servers, see the smbOverTCP parameter
in “Configuration File” (page 47).
