CIFS Server Release Notes

The patches are required to be installed to change a user password using passwd when the
winbind entry is configured in /etc/nsswitch.conf.
Kerberos Product and Patch Requirements
Kerberos v5 Client version C.1.3.5.06 is required to support HP CIFS Server integration with
Windows 2003 or later ADS Domain Controller (DC) on HP-UX 11i v1 systems.
Kerberos v5 Client version D 1.6.2 or later is required to support HP CIFS Server integration
with Windows 2003 or later ADS Domain Controller (DC) on HP-UX 11i v2 systems.
Kerberos v5 Client version E 1.6.2 or later is required to support HP CIFS Server integration with
Windows 2003 or later ADS Domain Controller (DC) on HP-UX 11i v3 systems.
