Window Basics
The main window of the HP Caliper GUI is divided up into views. A view is a tabbed
page that groups related tasks. These views and their icons are:
• Projects view
• Collect view
• Analyze view
• Advisor view
• Console view
• Diagnostics view
• Help view
As is typical of most GUIs, the HP Caliper GUI lets you reconfigure, resize, and
reposition all of the views to suit your needs. Views that are not currently needed can
be closed (and reopened when needed) to make more room for others.
Here is an example of the GUI window showing most of the views, slightly rearranged
from their default locations:
