• SIR
This is the total number of safe instruction recognition (SIR) stalls observed during
the sample interval. The count includes both false (stall only, no trap taken) stalls
and true (SWFA trap taken) stalls.
• FP Events /Sec: FOPS
This is the number of floating-point operations (not instructions) that are executed
per second.
• FP Events/Sec: zero flush
This is the number of flush to zero events that occur per second.
• FP Events/Sec: SIR Event: total
This is the total number of SIR stalls observed per second. The count includes both
false (stall only, no trap taken) stalls and true (SWFA trap taken) stalls.
• FP Events/Sec: SIR Event: stall
This is the total number of SIR false stalls (stall only, no trap taken) observed per
second.
• FP Events/Sec: SIR Event: trap
This is the total number of SIR true stalls (SWFA trap taken) observed per second.
• FP Events/Fop: zero flush
This is the number of flush to zero events that occur per floating-point operation
(not per instruction).
• FP Events/Fop: SIR Event: total
This is the ratio of all SIR stalls and total floating-point operations (not instructions).
The SIR count includes both false (stall only, no trap taken) stalls and true (SWFA
trap taken) stalls.
• FP Events/Fop: SIR Event: stall
This is the ratio of SIR false stalls (stall only, no trap taken) and total floating-point
operations (not instructions).
• FP Events: SIR Event: trap
This is the ratio of SIR true stalls (SWFA trap taken) and total floating-point
operations (not instructions).
