Metrics Available from this Measurement
The following metrics are available from this event set. These descriptions do not take
into account any command-line options you might use.
The metrics are:
• Instr Retired
This is the total number of instructions retired during the sample interval, including
nop and predicated off instructions.
• Finstr Per Instr
This is the total fraction of floating-point instructions retired among all instructions
during the sample interval, including nop and predicated off instructions.
• Flops Per Instr
This is the ratio of floating-point operations (not instructions) and all instructions
retired, including nop and predicated off instructions.
• Flops Per Finstr
This is the ratio of floating-point operations (not instructions) and floating-point
instructions retired, including nop and predicated off instructions.
• Flush To Zero
This is the total number of flush to zero events (denormalized numbers) that were
observed during the sampling interval.
