New Options and Enhancements in 5.3
The HP Caliper 5.3 release has the following improvements:
• A new option --sw-process-list, is added. This option is used in the system-wide mode
(-w option) to specify a list processes to analyze. This option is used to reduce the overhead
of Caliper in the system-wide mode.
• HP Caliper is enhanced to read debug information from +objdebug compiled object files
and debug side files. HP Caliper previously read debug information only from executable
binaries and load modules. A new option --debug-file-path is added to specify a list
of directories to search for the +objdebug object files.
