11i v3 releases
New features in B.11.31.1403 version
The following features are supported in B.11.31.1403 Version:
• Mixing of 10GbE drivers (iexgbe and iocxgbe) is now supported in Aggregates or LAN
Monitor.
The APA minimum version for this is B.11.31.1303. The minimum version for iexgbe and
iocxgbe is B.11.31.1303.1 and B.11.31.1303 respectively.
• MC-LAG (or distributed trunking) is now supported for 10GbE interfaces [only iexgbe and
iocxgbe drivers are supported]. The minimum APA version supported for 10 Gigabit Ethernet
is B.11.31.1303. For 10G interfaces, MC-LAG is supported only with Procurve switches.

New features in B.11.31.1303 release
The revision string for APA has been aligned with the HP-UX 11i v3 Operating Environments Update
Release (March 2013).
• Enhanced APA troubleshooting
APA internal tracing has been enhanced to capture required and necessary traces that are
useful in debugging APA. These messages are logged in APA internal trace buffer. These
traces can analyzed by HP Support using an HP internal tool (lanshow).
With this enhancement you can trace all the syslog.log messages and messages in the internal
trace buffer of APA , irrespective of HP_APA_USE_SYSLOG is enabled or not.
The parameter HP_APA_USE_SYSLOG in file /etc/rc.config.d/hp_apaconf when
enabled, selectively logs messages in syslog.log file. This parameter is disabled by default.
