Configuring VLANs over link aggregates
Figure 15 (page 92) shows a configuration with a VLAN with ID 333 over lan900 using ports
lan3 and lan4, with lan3 and lan4 connected to ports F23 and F24 on the switch, respectively.

To configure the VLAN on the switch, complete the following steps:
1. Create the trunk on the switch side. Enter:
HP ProCurve Switch 3500yl-24G#
HP ProCurve Switch 3500yl-24G#configure
HP ProCurve Switch 3500yl-24G(config)# trunk 23, 24 Trk3 LACP
HP ProCurve Switch 3500yl-24G(config)# exit
23 and 24 are configured to be a LACP trunk at trunk name Trk3.
2. Create the VLAN with ID 333 (vlan_333). Enter:
HP ProCurve Switch 3500yl-24G#
HP ProCurve Switch 3500yl-24G#configure
HP ProCurve Switch 3500yl-24G(config)# vlan 333 name vlan_333
HP ProCurve Switch 3500yl-24G(config)# exit
3. Tag the trunk Trk3 with the VLAN IDs to be used, in this case the ID is 333. Enter:
HP ProCurve Switch 3500yl-24G (config)# vlan 333 tagged Trk3
HP ProCurve Switch 3500yl-24G (config)# exit
