This section describes information for the Procurve switches:

Procurve Switch 3500yl-24G
This section provides the following information that you might find useful in using these switches:
• Flow control is OFF by default in Procurve switches. You must turn the flow control ON for all
the ports. If not saved, power cycling or reboot of the switch will turn the flow control OFF.
• The Procurve 3500yl-24G supports Jumbo frames.
Using graphical user interface for switch configuration:
1. Log in to the switch.
2. Press any key to continue and type Menu
3. Enter 2 (Switch Configuration).
4. Enter 2 (Port/Trunk Settings).
5. Use the arrow key to select edit.
6. Use the arrow key to select a field; press the space bar to cycle choices.
7. When finished, press Enter to return to the action keys.
8. Enter save to save the changes and display the Switch Configuration menu.
9. Enter 0 (zero) to display the Main Menu.
10. Enter 0 (zero) to logout. Then, enter Y to confirm.
