About This Document
This document provides an overview of the HP-UX AAA Server and describes how to
configure, administer, and troubleshoot the product. This document does not cover
installing the product.

Intended Audience
This document is intended for HP-UX AAA Server administrators who understand
the HP-UX operating system.
New and Changed Information in This Edition
The following additions and changes have been made for this edition:
• Includes a new chapter, called “Configuring EAP-SIM and EAP-AKA
Authentication Methods” that describes the EAP-SIM and EAP-AKA authentication
methods and their configurations.
• Includes a new chapter, called “Configuring HP-UX AAA Server for Scalability
and High-Availability ”that describes the scalability and high-availability features
of the HP-UX AAA Server, and their configurations.
• Includes a new chapter, called “Configuring the HP-UX AAA Server for Client
Functionality ”that describes the client functionality of the HP-UX AAA Server.
• Includes a new chapter, called “Configuring the HP-UX AAA Server for Dynamic
Authorization” that describes the dynamic authorization capability of the HP-UX
AAA Server.
