HP-UX AAA Server A.07.01 Administrator's Guide
33 MIB Objects
RFCs 2619 and 2621 describe the MIB objects for HP-UX AAA Server. Since the HP-UX
AAA Server performs both authentication and accounting functions, some of the MIB
objects return duplicated information. All of the RADIUS MIB objects that are sent to
the management workstation by the server in response to SNMP requests are read-only,
except radiusAuthServConfigReset and radiusAcctServConfigReset.
Notes:
• When you check the server status, the server increases the
radiusAuthServTotalAccessRequests count but does not increase
radiusAuthServAccessRequests for any client. This behavior results in a
total authentication request count that does not equal the sum of requests received
by individual clients.
• The MIB objects do not support IPv6 addresses.
MIB Objects
Table 33-1 describes the various MIB objects.
Table 33-1 MIB Objects and Definitions

radiusAuthServIdent, radiusAccServIdent
TimeTicks, in hundredths of a second, since
the server was started.
radiusAuthServUptime, radiusAccServUptime
TimeTicks, in hundredths of a second, since
the server’s configuration files were
reloaded.
radiusAuthServResetTime,
radiusAccServResetTime
The only RADIUS MIB objects for SNMP
requests that allows a write operation.
radiusAuthServConfigReset,
radiusAccServConfigReset
Sending an integer value of 2 from the
SNMP workstation to the HP-UX AAA

files but only if the server was started with

A read operation will return one of the
following integer values:
• 1 (server in some unknown state)
