B.5 Case Study Summary
The case study illustrates how the SDK provides the flexibility to customize the HP-UX AAA
RADIUS Server for non-standard network and IT environments. For this case, the SDK was used
to code a plug-in module for Windows user authentication on the Windows domain controller
data store. The earlier LDAP example illustrated a similar built-in configuration using LDAP and
the HP-UX Netscape Directory Server.
This level of customization requires development resources and testing. The standard features of
the AAA RADIUS server provide a wide range of configurable options that will integrate with a
standards-based Wireless LAN design. The HP-UX AAA Server SDK can be requested by
contacting your HP support representative.
