The initial client supplicant configuration is complete. Later, the client configuration will be
updated to include validation of the server certificate to require mutual authentication (so far the
configuration only authenticates the client and not the server).
5.3.2 Authenticator (access point) Configuration
The MAC address authentication task that the access point processed is now removed, and
authentication is forwarded to the HP-UX AAA RADIUS Server. There are 2 configuration
changes on the access point required to enable 802.1X.
First, the access point 802.1X feature must be enabled. For the HP ProCurve 520WL access point
to enable WEP key distribution from the AAA RADIUS Server, the “Mixed(WEP and 802.1x)”
802.1x Security Mode is selected.
