xv) The following screen enables you to set global tunables for your configuration. Leave all
but the Frequency field set to the defaults. Enter 5 in the Frequency field. (This value was
chosen so you can quickly evaluate your partition management. After you have verified
the management is working as expected, increase this value to 60 and restart wlmd. Also,
increase the interval value in the wlmpard configuration file to 120 and restart wlmpard.)
Click Next to continue.
xvi) The next screen asks whether this configuration will be used in a dynamic partition setup—
in other words, to manage partitions. Select the Yes option, and enter the name of the
partition where the WLM global arbiter (wlmpard) will run in the primary host field. In this
example, the primary host name is “myserver.” There is nothing special about this primary
host partition, other than it is where you plan to run wlmpard. Click Next to continue.
