Setting up your WLM global arbiter configuration file

Step 6. Select the “Global Arbiter” item in the left pane. The right pane changes,
allowing you to fill in the various fields for the global arbiter
configuration keywords. The syntax for each of the keyword values you
specify is described in the remaining sections of this chapter. (The fields
listed in the top of the right pane are used when you want to open an
existing configuration; that is, for “Hostname” you would enter the name
of the host on which the configuration file resides, for “Port” you would
enter the port to use when connecting to the host, and so on.)
Step 7. When you have finished defining the various global arbiter settings,
select the [Commit changes] button to save the current configuration
in memory. To save changes to disk, go to the Deploy tab. (The file is
saved to the file specified in the Filename field in the Modify tab when
the system is selected in the left pane.)
Specifying the global arbiter interval (optional)
Specify how often the WLM global arbiter is to check for input from the
WLM instances—and potentially alter the number of cores for the
partitions—using the keyword interval. The syntax is:
