This fix addresses CR# JAGaf76390.
hmincpu, hmaxcpu, and hweight do not always behave as expected
In previous releases, WLM would not always produce the expected CPU distribution when
using hmincpu, hmaxcpu, and hweight.
WLM has been fixed so that it now produces the correct distribution when using these values.
This fix addresses CR# JAGaf82020.
WLM might try to activate deconfigured CPUs when utilitypri is set
In previous releases, when managing partitions in a complex that included deconfigured
CPUs, if the utilitypri keyword was set, WLM might attempt to activate the deconfigured
CPUs (using icod_modify [or icapmodify]). The activation attempt would fail and an error
message would be reported to the WLM message log.
WLM has been fixed so that it now manages deconfigured CPUs properly with the
utilitypri keyword set.
This fix addresses CR# JAGaf84049.
Global arbiter does not correctly recognize inactive cells
In previous releases, when the WLM global arbiter (wlmpard) was managing a complex that
included inactive cells and was using Instant Capacity software, WLM would not recognize
that the CPUs in these cells are unusable.
WLM has been fixed so that it now correctly recognizes inactive cells in a complex using
Instant capacity software.
This fix addresses CR# JAGaf85069.
Secure compartments cannot be mapped to 0-sized PSETs
If a secure compartment (scomp) record is used with WLM, the WLM configuration maps the
secure compartment to a PSET group that has no CPUs allocated to it. In previous releases,
PRM would not allow secure compartments to be mapped to PSETs that have no CPUs. PRM
would generate an error message and reject the configuration.
PRM has been fixed to allow secure compartment records to map to PSET groups with no
CPUs.
This fix addresses CR# JAGaf79176.
