Secure compartments not usable with empty PSETs
In previous releases, WLM would reject configurations that used secure compartment records
with PSETs having no CPUs allocated to them. This problem occurred with PRM C.03.00
(which would reject WLM secure compartment records used with such PSETs).
PRM C.03.01 has been fixed so that it no longer rejects WLM secure compartment records
associated with empty PSETs.
This fix addresses CR# JAGaf79176.
Incomplete documentation of security certificate management
In previous releases, the procedure for configuring secure communications between the WLM
GUI and wlmcomd on the local node was not clearly documented in the wlmcert(1M) manpage.
The manpage explains how to configure secure communications for remote operations but
does not explain that the same procedure is required if the complete WLM product is
installed.
The wlmcert(1M) manpage has been updated to state that the same procedure for using the
WLM GUI on a remote node needs to be done when using the WLM GUI on the local node.
This fix addresses CR# JAGaf81638.
Global arbiter does not detect Instant Capacity information in nPar
mode when vPars is installed
In previous releases, WLM would not recognize Instant Capacity information when the
HP-UX Virtual Partitions (vPars) software was installed and the partition was booted as an
nPartition (nPar). As a result, WLM was not able to migrate CPUs across nPartitions or
activate Temporary Instant Capacity cores to increase CPU resources.
WLM has been fixed so that it now recognizes Instant Capacity information in this scenario.
This fix addresses CR# JAGaf74466.
wlminfo slo -v does not display usage metrics in strictly host-based
configurations
In previous releases, the wlminfo slo -v command would fail to display usage metrics in
strictly host-based configurations. Each metric is displayed as a dash (-).
WLM has been fixed so that this command now displays usage metrics in a strictly host-based
configuration.
