Step 6. Select OK to install the software after the analysis phase is completed.
Because these products contain kernel filesets, SD will prompt you that a reboot is
necessary.
NOTE If this was the first time you installed WLM and you have not previously
installed PRM, be sure to edit the file /etc/rc.config.d/prm to set the following
variables as indicated:
PRM_CONFIG=0
PRM_RMTCONF=0
These settings prevent PRM and its remote configuration daemon from starting
automatically at reboot. (The PRM remote configuration daemon is not useful
with WLM and does not need to be started.)
Patches and fixes in this version
WLM version A.02.03.01 includes the following fixes.
Upgrading from PRM trial version
Previously, upgrading from a PRM trial version to WLM would leave the PRM trial product
installed—even though it is no longer needed. This PRM trial product is now removed.
This fix addresses CR# JAGaf16277.
Cannot reload the PRM repository
When a WLM configuration had transient_groups = 1, at least one PSET-based workload
group, and memory management enabled, WLM would generate the following errors in
/var/opt/wlm/msglog and shut down during the first WLM interval:
WLM--"wm_knob_init, prm_rep_validate2": PRM--"Specified repository is not
valid, contains incorrect information (PRM-2321)"
Fatal: Cannot reload the PRM repository.
These conditions no longer cause this error. This fix addresses CR# JAGaf06560.
