This document provides a matrix that lists the supported and end of support (EOS) versions of the
HP WBEM Services product. It is intended to assist you in determining whether the versions of HP
WBEM Services you are using are currently supported by HP and the level of support being
provided.

New and changed information in this edition
Included support information for the minor versions of HP WBEM Services A.02.09. For information,
see Table 1.
End of support
Starting with September 2009 Application Release (AR), no new features or enhancements for HP
WBEM Services are addressed on HP-UX 11i v1. HP WBEM Services A.02.07.06 is the latest
version available on HP-UX 11i v1. Only defects that are critical in nature will be addressed on
this version of the product.
IMPORTANT:
• Defect fixes are not delivered on major versions of HP WBEM Services that are past the EOS
date.
A major version release of HP WBEM Services is when the digits after the second decimal
point in the version string are updated. For example, version A.02.09 is a major release after
A.02.07. A minor version release is when the digit after the third decimal point in the version
string is updated. For example, A.02.09.02 is a minor version of the major version A.02.09.
• Support is provided for the latest and the previous major version of HP WBEM Services on
an operating system version, until support is stopped for the operating system version itself.
When a new major version of WBEM Services is released, support for the older version is
stopped. At any point of time, support for two major versions of the HP WBEM Services is
provided on each supported operating system version. For example, when the next major
version of HP WBEM Services on 11i v3 is released, support will be provided only for the
new major version and the A.02.09 version.
• Defects found in the minor versions of HP WBEM Services are fixed in the next minor version.
For example, defects found in version A.02.07.02 or earlier are fixed in version A.02.07.04.
HP WBEM Services supportability matrix
Table 1 (page 5) lists the HP WBEM Services versions, according to release dates, and OS
versions. Table 2 (page 6) lists the HP WBEM Services versions that are currently not supported.
