The following software must be installed on the system:
• HP-UX Disk space required to install:
— /opt3312 Kbytes
— /var 184 Kbytes
Installing HP WBEM Services Software Developer’s Kit for HP-UX
You need to log in to the system as root (uid=0) to install the software for the HP
WBEM Services Software Developer's Kit.
Software is made available for HP-UX in Software Depot (SD) format as a single SD
depot. Before installing the software, be sure that you have already installed the
following software on your system:
• HP-UX 11i v1, 11i v2 or 11i v3.
• HP WBEM Services for HP-UX, Version A.02.07.xx.
To install the software, download the product from http://software.hp.com.
Copy the downloaded depot file to a local directory on your system, then run the SD-UX
swinstall command and follow the instructions to install the software from the
depot.
The file sets that make up the HP WBEM Services Software Developer's Kit product
are:
• WBEMSDK-CPLUS, A.02.07.xx - C++ fileset
• WBEMSDK-C+-COM, A.02.07.xx - C++ COM fileset
• WBEMSDK-DOC, A.02.07.xx - Document fileset
To verify, enter this command at the end of the install:
swverify WBEMSDK
