The following software must be installed on the system:
• HP-UX disk space required to install:
◦ 3312 KB in the /opt directory
◦ 184 KB in the /var directory
Installing HP WBEM Services Software Developer’s Kit for HP-UX
Log in to the system as root (uid=0) to install the software for the HP WBEM Services Software
Developer's Kit.
The software is available for HP-UX in Software Depot (SD) format as a single SD depot. Before
installing the software, ensure that you have installed the following software on your system:
• HP-UX 11i v2 or 11i v3.
• HP WBEM Services for HP-UX Version A.02.09.06.
To install the software, download the product from http://software.hp.com. Copy the downloaded
depot file to a local directory on your system, then run the SD-UX swinstall command and follow
the instructions to install the software from the depot.
The file sets available with the HP WBEM Services Software Developer's Kit product are:
• WBEMSDK-CPLUS, A.02.09.06 - C++ fileset
• WBEMSDK-C+-COM, A.02.09.06 - C++ COM fileset
• WBEMSDK-DOC, A.02.09.06 - Document fileset
To verify, enter the following command at the end of the install:
swverify WBEMSDK
When the software has been installed correctly, swverify posts this message:
Verification succeeded
