Installing HP-UX vPartition Provider

Hardware Requirements
Currently, this product is supported on Itanium based systems. Table 1-1 “vPartition Provider
Supported Platform and OS Requirement” lists the platform support information for the vPartition
provider.

Software Requirements and OS Support
The product requires the following software to be installed on the system:
• WBEM Services version A.02.07 or later to be installed on HP-UX 11i v1, HP-UX 11i v2, and
HP-UX 11i v3 systems to gather information about the subsystems.
Disk Space Requirement
The vPartition provider requires approximately 4 MB of disk space for installation.
