Overview
The
Web Based Enterprise management is an industry wide initiative to unify
the management
of system,
networks, and applications across multiple and diverse vendor environments.
Description
The SAS HBA Provider makes available various attributes related to SAS HBA such as HBA parameters
and others. The SAS HBA Provider instruments HPUX_SASPortController and HPUX_SASRegisteredProfile
Classes.
This provider is for use by WBEM clients as part of making available the various HBA attributes of the
SAS HBA. The current implementation is for HP-UX and the Provider is an instance Provider (read-only
properties).

Instance Provider filesets are:
SAS-PROVIDER-RUN which contains:
o SAS instance provider module shared library: libHPUXSASProviderModule.so.1 (in
/opt/sas/sasprovider/lib, and is the target of the symbolic link in
/opt/wbem/providers/lib/)
o Schema MOF file: HPUX_SASPortController.mof (in /opt/sas/sasprovider/mof)
o Provider registration MOF file: HPUXSASProviderModuleRegister.mof
(/opt/sas/sasprovider/mof)
The HP-UX SAS Instance Provider is registered in the "root/cimv2" namespace as an instance provider.
