Overview

The

Web Based Enterprise management is an industry wide initiative to unify

the management

of system,

networks, and applications across multiple and diverse vendor environments.

Description

The SAS HBA Provider makes available various attributes related to SAS HBA

such as HBA parameters

and others. The SAS HBA Provider instruments HPUX_SASPortController and HPUX_SASRegisteredProfile

Classes.

The HP-UX SAS-HBA Consolidated Status Provider (CSP) on HPUX reports the overall health status of the

SAS-HBA subsystem in the managed node.

Requirements

The provider requires:

1. HP WBEM Services A.02.07 version on HP-UX 11i v3 .

2. SAS-HBA instance provider (SAS-PROVIDER).

of the symbolic link in /opt/wbem/providers/lib/)

o Schema MOF file: HPUX_SASPortControllerCollection.mof,

HPUX_SASPortControllerGroupHostedCollection.mof, and

HPUX_SASPortControllerMemberOSASollection.mof (in /opt/sas/sasprovider/mof)

o Provider registration MOF file: HPUXSASCSProviderModuleRegister.mof

(/opt/sas/sasprovider/mof)

The HP-UX SAS Consolidated Status Provider is registered in the "root/cimv2" namespace as an instance

provider.
