Overview

The Web Based Enterprise management is an industry wide initiative to unify the management of system,

networks, and applications across multiple and diverse vendor environments.

Description

The RAIDSA HBA Provider makes available various attributes related to RAIDSA HBA. The RAIDSA HBA

Provider instruments HPUX_RAIDSAPortController and HPUX_RAIDSARegisteredProfile Classes.

This provider is for use by WBEM clients as part of making available the various HBA attributes of the

RAIDSA HBA. The current implementation is for HP-UX and the Provider is an instance Provider(read-only

properties).

Requirements

The provider requires HP WBEM Services A.02.05 for HP-UX.

This provider only supports HP RAIDSA interface products for HP-UX.

The provider is supported on HP-UX 11i v2 and HP-UX 11i v3.

Setting Up This

Provider

The RAIDSA HBA Provider is available as an ISU for HP-UX 11iv2 and HP-UX 11i v3.

Installing this provider

The RAIDSA Provider file set is contained within the Software Distributor bundle RAIDSA-PROVIDER-00.

The RAIDSA Instance Provider file set, RAIDSA-PROVIDER-RUN, contains:

• RAIDSA instance provider module shared library:

o libHPUXRAIDSAProviderModule.so.1 (in /opt/raidsaprovider/lib, and is the target

of the symbolic link in /opt/wbem/providers/lib/libHPUXRAIDSAProviderModule.so

on IA.

o libHPUXRAIDSAProviderModule.1 (in /opt/raidsaprovider/lib, and is the target of

the symbolic link in /opt/wbem/providers/lib/libHPUXRAIDSAProviderModule.sl on

PA.

• Schema MOF file: HPUX_RAIDSAPortController.mof, HPUXRAIDSAProviderModule.mof,

HPUX_RAIDSARegisteredProfile.mof (in /opt/raidsaprovider/mof)

• Provider registration MOF file: HPUXRAIDSAProviderModuleRegister.mof

(/opt/raidsaprovider/mof)

The HP-UX RAIDSA Instance Provider is registered in the "root/cimv2" namespace as an instance

provider.

The RAIDSA Instance Provider is installed by default when WBEMP-CIMP-SA is installed.

This provider does not accept specific configuration adjustments (beyond standard WBEM support).
