HP-UX WBEM IOTree Indication Provider
The IOTree Indication Provider (IOTree-IP) generates indications when certain events occur in
the PCI I/O subsystem. This provider generates the following indications:
• Slot Occupied
• Slot Emptied
• Slot Power Off
• Slot Power On
• Slot Driver Suspended
• Slot Driver Resumed
HP-UX WBEM LVM Provider
The LVM Provider enables the WBEM client applications to retrieve Logical Volume Manager
(LVM) information from the LVM subsystem.
HP-UX WBEM RAIDSA Provider
HP-UX WBEM RAIDSA Provider is used by client applications to retrieve information about
Smart Array HBAs present on the system. Using this provider, the WBEM clients can retrieve
details about various attributes of Smart Array HBA.
HP-UX WBEM SAS Provider
HP-UX WBEM SAS Provider is used by client applications to retrieve information about SAS
HBAs present on the system. Using this provider, the WBEM clients can retrieve details about
various attributes of SAS HBAs.
Common Features
The following features are supported by the mass storage WBEM providers:
• Reports data for the subsystem.
• Compiles with DMTF standards and can be used with DMTF-compliant management clients.
• Supports HP-UX WBEM services to provide web access to HP-UX data for management
clients.
• Used by HP Software Management clients, HP System Insight Manager (SIM), HP System
Management HomePage (SMH), and others.
• Supports WBEM 2.5 services security features to control access to HP-UX data.
