HP secure development lifecycle Starting with HP-UX 11i v3 March 2013 update release, HP secure development lifecycle provides the ability to authenticate HP-UX software. Software delivered through this release has been digitally signed using HP's private key. You can now verify the authenticity of the software before installing the products, delivered through this release. To verify software signatures in signed depot, version B.11.31.1303 or later of Software Distributor (SD) and version A.01.01.
1 LAN provider release notes for September 2013 release This document discusses the most recent product information on HP-UX WBEM LAN provider, which is supported on HP-UX 11i v1, HP-UX 11i v2, and HP-UX 11i v3 operating systems. • LAN indication provider requires patch PHNE_35545 (11i v2) and PHNE_37799 (11i v3) respectively to generate events with more detail severity, cause and recommended actions. • LANProvider depends on ProviderSvcsBase version C.10.00.07.01, September 2012 release or later and vPars/HPVM 6.1 or later to support DIO.

Defect Fixes in B.11.31.1303.04.01 release QXCR1001221295 When the first node of the hostname is changed to a name that has more than 8 characters, the LANProvider fails to report the events. This issue is fixed in this release.
