1 HP-UX WBEM LAN provider release notes This document discusses the most recent product information on HP-UX WBEM LAN provider, which is supported on HP-UX 11i v1, HP-UX 11i v2, and HP-UX 11i v3 operating systems. What is new in this release WBEM LAN provider supports the following two adapters: • Direct Input/Output (DIO) is supported with Broadcom 10-Gigabit Ethernet(driver: iexgbe), Emulex CNA (driver: iocxgbe), AT118A, and NC552m on HPVM/vpars 6.1 and later. With LANIndicationProvider DIO support, DIO functions assigned to HPVM guest is now monitored by both the host and guest. Any events generated on DIO configured functions on the guest can be seen on the host.

Known problems, workarounds and limitations The following known problems are for the current release: • Problem: There are no email alerts for the subscription. Description: User do not receive email alerts for existing and new email subscriptions due to database authorization issue in September 2011 release. Workaround: There is no workaround for this problem.
