Defects Fixed in This Version

This section describes WBEM Kernel provider defects fixed in the HP-UX 11i v2 and 11i v3 operating

systems.

Defect Fix in B.01.01.02.01 Release

The KernelProviderModule dumps core due to a bug in SwapProvider.

The bug is due to corruption of the static map, which is a map of all the classes

in swap provider. This static map is initialized in a thread unsafe manner, and

gets invoked during the enumerate instances operation of the Swap provider.

When multiple threads are serving requests from Swap provider, the initialization

of map is corrupted during race conditions.

This defect is fixed in the current release.
