What's new in this release
• For every PCI OL* suspend operation on a FC Card owned by fclp/fcoc driver, the
HPUXFCNativeIndicationProvider generates only one event
#21 per card instead of generating two events 20,21 for each port on the card.
• For every PCI OL* resume operation on a FC Card owned by fclp/fcoc driver, the
HPUXFCNativeIndicationProvider generates only one event
#23 per card instead of generating two events 22,23 for each port on the card.
• For every PCI OL* remove operation on a FC Card owned by fclp/fcoc driver, the
HPUXFCNativeIndicationProvider generates only one event
21 & #32 per card instead of generating four events 20,21 28 &32 for each port on the
card.
• For every PCI OL* suspend operation on a FC Card owned by fcd driver, the
HPUXFCNativeIndicationProvider generates only one event
#10 per card instead of generating two events 9,10 for each port on the card.
• For every PCI OL* resume operation on a FC Card owned by fcd driver, the
HPUXFCNativeIndicationProvider generates only one event
#12 per card instead of generating two events 11,12 for each port on the card.
• For every PCI OL* remove operation on a FC Card owned by fcd driver, the
HPUXFCNativeIndicationProvider generates only one event
#10 & #19 per card instead of generating four events 9,10,18 & 19 for each port on the
card.
Also, the severity of event #19 is changed from FATAL/NONRECOVERABLE to INFORMATION.

Installing HP-UX WBEM Fibre Channel provider
The WBEM FC provider depot is available for download on the OE media and web. September
2011 web release onwards, all the HP-UX 11i v3 version of WBEM providers and Diagnostics
products, are available for download on the WBEM Management bundle for HP-UX 11i v3 bundle
page athttps://h20392.www2.hp.com/portal/swdepot/displayProductInfo.do?
productNumber=WBEMMgmtBundle.
NOTE: HP's WBEM Management bundle is released only on the web. All the products from the
WBEM Management bundle must be installed together. This is due to product interdependency.
These products might not work if they are installed individually.
