fails to generate events for all subsequent Fibre-Channel adapters available on the system if
the first instance of the adapter is not supported by the
HPUXFCNativeIndicationProviderModule.
This defect is fixed in the current release on BL870c i2 platform. The Fiber-Channel adapter
tests are enhanced to send events for all the monitored paths even if the first instance of the
adapter is not supported by the HPUXFCNativeIndicationProviderModule.
In the previous release on HP-UX 11i v3 OS, enumeration of classes available in Fibre-Channel
Instance provider and Fibre-Channel Consolidated Status provider fails for a user with non-root
privileges.
QXCR1001068706
This defect is fixed in the current release. Enumeration of classes available in Fibre-Channel
Instance provider and Fibre-Channel Consolidated Status provider is successful even for a
normal user.
In the previous release on BL870c i2 platform, when the cimserver /
HPUXFCNativeIndicationProviderModule is restarted, the Indication Identifier index
QXCR1001078598
is reset. If the evweb current database already has events with the same event number or
Indication Identifier index, such duplicate events are not logged in the evweb database. When
events with the same event IDs are reported frequently, the events will be logged in the /var/
opt/sfm/log/event.log file and the syslog file.
In the current release on BL870c i2 platform, when the cimserver /
HPUXFCNativeIndicationProviderModule is restarted, the Indication Identifier is
concatenated with a timestamp along with the event number and Index. With this modification,
the Indication Identifier can never be duplicated and all the event IDs generated by the provider
are unique and gets logged in the evweb database.
In the previous release, when the evweb eventviewer command runs on HP-UX platform,
both HPUXFCIndicationProviderModule and
QXCR1001040332
HPUXFCNativeIndicationProviderModule displays the Fibre-Channel hardware path
in Summary and Description fields of the command output. The adapter hardware path
value must not be displayed in these fields.
In the current release, the HPUXFCIndicationProviderModule and
HPUXFCNativeIndicationProviderModule does not display Fibre-Channel hardware
path in the Summary and Description fields of the evweb eventviewer command
output.
Defects Fixed in B.11.31.1103.14 Release
In the previous release, the HPUXFCNativeIndicationProviderModule is not supported
on legacy Integrity systems.
QXCR1001048147
In the current release, the HPUXFCNativeIndicationProviderModule is supported on
legacy Integrity systems. The monitors dm_ql_adapter and dm_fclp_adpater no longer
generate events on legacy Integrity systems.
In the previous release, the HPUXFCNativeIndicationProviderModule does not generate
events related to HP 580151-B21 10Gb PCIe 2-port OCm10102-F-HP FCoE
Mezzanine adapter on BL870c i2 platform.
QXCR1001021582
In the current release, the HPUXFCNativeIndicationProviderModule generate all
events related to HP 580151-B21 10Gb PCIe 2-port OCm10102-F-HP FCoE
Mezzanine adapter on BL870c i2 platform.
In the previous release, when the evweb eventviewer command runs on legacy and
PA-RISC platforms, event descriptions of events generated by the
HPUXFCIndicationProviderModule may contain special characters.
QXCR1001092354
This defect is fixed in the current release, and the event descriptions do not contain these
special characters.
The consolidated status provider displays the overall status of the IO subsystem based on the
GroupOperationalStatus property severity level. The severity levels associated for the
