Based Enterprise Management (WBEM) is an industry wide initiative to unify the management of
system, networks, and applications across multiple and diverse vendor environments. It enables WBEM
clients to subscribe to indications, and indication consumers to receive indications.
HP-UX Fibre Channel (FC) Indication Provider is a Common Information Model (CIM) indication provider. It
works in the Web-Based Enterprise Management (WBEM) environment.
This provider generates indications
whenever the events of interest occur in the Fibre Channel subsystems.
On legacy servers, HPUXFCIndicationProviderModule generates indications of the type HP_DeviceIndication
class.
On New Generation Integrity servers, HPUXFCNativeIndicationProviderModule generates indications of the
type HP_DeviceIndication class.

 HP WBEM Services A.02.05 on HP-UX 11i v2 system and A.02.09 on HP-UX 11i v3 system
 EMS core with version on PA-RISC platforms only.
 Support Tools Manager (STM). On PA-RISC platforms only.
