In the previous release, when event subscriptions are created by a non-privileged user, the
HPUXFCIndicationProviderModule runs out of file descriptors and stops functioning. As a result,
events reported by the HPUXFCIndicationProviderModule may be lost.

indications using these events. The provider name used in FC (Fibre-Channel) indication module is

are displayed on SMH (System Management Homepage) for a dual/multi port FC (Fibre-Channel)
Card.

In the current release, this defect is fixed. On HP–UX 11i v2 OS, two tables namely FC Ports and
FC Controllers are displayed on the SMH (System Management Homepage) page. The FC
Controllers table displays information about the physical cards on the machine. The FC Ports table
displays information about the individual ports.
