Defect fixes in B.11.31.1103 release
Table 18 B.11.31.1103
DescriptionDefect ID
In the previous release, the FC (Fibre-Channel) Instance provider does not display correct Speed and
Max Speed values for the following FC (Fibre-Channel) adapters:
QXCR1001038978
451871-B21 PCIe 2-port 8Gb QLogic Mezzanine FC (Fibre-Channel) adapter
AH400A PCIe 1-port 8Gb Qlogic FC (Fibre-Channel) adapter
AH401A PCIe 2-port 8Gb Qlogic FC (Fibre-Channel) adapter
456972-B21 PCIe 2-port 8GB Emulex FC (Fibre-Channel) adapter
In the current release, the SNIA library call is modified to handle the above listed adapters. The SNIA
library call retrieves the Speed and Max Speed values for the adapters and enables the FC
(Fibre-Channel) Instance provider to display appropriate values for these fields.
In the previous release, on BL870c i2 platform, the FC (Fibre-Channel) adapter test command:QXCR1001058688
#/opt/fcprovider/bin/FC_Provider_test -d
fails to generate events for all subsequent FC (Fibre-Channel) adapters available on the system if the
first instance of the adapter is not supported by the HPUXFCNativeIndicationProviderModule.
This defect is fixed in the current release on BL870c i2 platform. The Fiber-Channel adapter tests
are enhanced to send events for all the monitored paths even if the first instance of the adapter is not
supported by the HPUXFCNativeIndicationProviderModule.
In the previous release on HP-UX 11i v3 OS, enumeration of classes available in FC (Fibre-Channel)
Instance provider and FC (Fibre-Channel) Consolidated Status provider fails for a user with non-root
privileges.
