Known Problems, Workarounds, Limitations
The product has the following known problem in the current release:
Problem: Warning messages are logged in the system log file as the DAS provider thread
spawns over a period of time.
Workaround: To avoid these messages, disable the provider using the following command at
the HP-UX command prompt:
$ cimprovider -dm HPUXStorageProviderModule
To restart or enable the provider, run the following command at the HP-UX command prompt:
$ cimprovider -em HPUXStorageProviderModule
The product has the following limitation:
• It is a read-only provider and hence does not allow users to modify, create, or delete instances.
