HP-UX WBEM DAS Provider Release Notes (April 2010, 5992-5217)

In the previous release, events generated by all I/O Indication providers were logged
in DAS provider database DISKPROVDB, available at the location:/opt/psb/db/
pgsql/bin/psql
In the current release, events generated only by DAS Indication provider gets logged
in the DISKPROVDB database, available at the location: /opt/psb/db/pgsql/bin/
psql.

In the previous release, following fields were not populated with appropriate values
from the indications generated by HPUXStorageIndicationProviderModule
and HPUXStorageNativeIndicationProviderModule:
• Event Threshold
• Event TimeWindow
• SystemSerialNumber
• SystemFirmwareVersion
• SystemGUID
In the current release, these fields are populated from the indications generated by
HPUXStorageIndicationProviderModule and
HPUXStorageNativeIndicationProviderModule.

In the previous release, after OE install, reboot, or upgrade, the DAS Indication
module times-out while registering with EMS.
In the current release, this defect is fixed by increasing the time-out value of EMS
registration.

/var/opt/storageprovider/conf is termed as PSBLoggerConfig.xml.
In the current release, the log configuration file for DAS Provider available at: /var/
opt/storageprovider/conf is termed as DASLoggerConfig.xml.
