Known Problems, Workarounds, Limitations
Following known problem is applicable for the current release:
Problem: If the permission for /tmp and /var/tmp directories are changed during HP-UX
installation phase, the sfmdb user cannot write temporary files. As a result, WBEM events are not
logged at the following locations: EventArchive, syslog, email and /var/opt/sfm/log/
event.log.
Workaround: To enable logging of WBEM events, the directory permission and ownership for
/tmp and /var/tmp must be reset to the values 1777 and root:root respectively.
Localized Version of the Software
The product is supported only in English locale (LANG=C). Behavior of the product is unpredictable
when LANG value is set to any other language code other than C. Documentation support for this
product is also available only in English locale.
