Announcement Web-Based Enterprise Management (WBEM) is an industry wide initiative to unify the management of system, networks, and applications across multiple and diverse vendor environments. The provider initiates an activation/deactivation operation and provides an option to monitor the online operation progress. The OLOS product version B.01.03, is the HP-UX WBEM Services provider for online operations on partitionable systems running HP-UX 11i v3 (B.11.31).
What's New in This Release This provider is supported only on HP-UX 11i v3 OS from the current release.
Installing HP-UX OLOS Provider The latest OLOS depot is available for download on the OE media. For more information on installing the product, see the product at the following location: http:// www.docs.hp.com/en/diag.html Hardware Requirements Currently, this product is supported on Itanium based systems. Table 1-1 “OLOS Provider Supported Platform and OS Requirement” lists the platform support information for the OLOS provider.
Known Problems, Workarounds, Limitations Following problem is found in the current release of the provider: At any given time, only a single cell within a partition can be activated or deactivated. If more than one cell is being considered for activation/deactivation, then an error message is displayed. This error message does not convey the information appropriately.
Localization The OLOS provider documentation is available in English language only.
