Announcement Web-Based Enterprise Management (WBEM) is an industry wide initiative to unify the management of system, networks, and applications across multiple and diverse vendor environments. The provider initiates an activation/deactivation operation and provides an option to monitor the online operation progress. The OLOS product version B.01.04, is the HP-UX WBEM Services provider for online operations on partitionable systems running HP-UX 11i v3 (B.11.31).
What's New in This Release This version of the provider includes only defect fixes and does not offer any new features. For information about the defect fixes, see “Defects Fixed in This Version” (page 9).
Installing HP-UX OLOS Provider The latest OLOS depot is available for download on the OE media. For more information on installing the product, see the product download web page available at the following location: http://h20392.www2.hp.com/portal/swdepot/displayProductInfo.do?productNumber=olosProvider Hardware Requirements Currently, this product is supported on Itanium based systems.
Defects Fixed in This Version The following defects are fixed in the OLOS provider for September 2009 release. Table 1-2 September 2009 Defect Fixes for HP-UX 11i v3 OS Defect ID QXCR1000933176 Description In the previous version of the provider, while performing online deletion operation using the parolrad —d command, the operation reports Operation successful message even when the operation was cancelled. This defect is fixed in the current version of the provider.
Known Problems, Workarounds, Limitations There are no known problems, workarounds, or limitations in the current release of the product.
Software Availability in Native Languages The OLOS provider documentation is available in English language only.
