HP-UX WBEM IOTree Provider
The IOTree Provider enables WBEM client applications to retrieve information about the various
attributes of the PCI I/O subsystem. It obtains the basic HP-UX PCI subsystem information, such
as the number and the various characteristics of the PCI slots, PCI cards, PCI devices, and PCI
bridges.
The IOTree Provider supports the following features:
• Supports Instance Provider feature
This feature provides information about PCI I/O subsystem in the managed node.
• Reports data for the subsystem.
• Supports HP-UX WBEM services to provide web access to HP-UX data for management
clients.
• Used by HP Software Management clients, HP System Insight Manager (SIM), HP System
Management HomePage (SMH), and others.
• Supports WBEM 2.5 services security features to control access to HP-UX data.
