• Problem
Errors in /etc/rc.log file after activating clones using Dynamic Root Disk (DRD)
After activating the clone using DRD, initial booting to clone results in the following error
in the /etc/rc.log file:
=====================================================================
Remounting Root File System
Output from "/sbin/rc1.d/S101vxfs_remount_root start":
----------------------------
mount: /dev/vx/dsk/drd_rootdg/rootvol is not mounted on / "/sbin/rc1.d/S101vxfs_remount_root start" FAILED
=====================================================================
This error does not occur for subsequent reboots (onto clone or original disk)
Workaround
Use the mount -m command at the beginning of the remount_root() function in the
/sbin/rc1.d/S101vxfs_remount_root script before activating the clone.
