VxVM vxdg ERROR V-5-1-2879 subdisk: Record is associated
Description: The named subdisk is not a top-level object.
Action: Objects specified for a disk group move, split or join must be either disks or
top-level volumes.
V-5-1-2907
VxVM vxdg ERROR V-5-1-2907 diskgroup: Disk group does not exist
Description: The disk group does not exist or is not imported
Action: Use the correct name, or import the disk group and try again.
V-5-1-2908
VxVM vxdg ERROR V-5-1-2908 diskdevice: Request crosses disk group
boundary
Description: The specified disk device is not configured in the source disk group for
a disk group move or split operation.
Action: Correct the name of the disk object specified in the disk group move or split
operation.
V-5-1-2911
VxVM vxdg ERROR V-5-1-2911 diskname: Disk is not usable
Description: The specified disk has become unusable.
Action: Do not include the disk in any disk group move, split or join operation until it
has been replaced or repaired.
V-5-1-2922
VxVM vxconfigd ERROR V-5-1-2922 Disk group exists and is imported
Description: A slave tried to join a cluster, but a shared disk group already exists in
the cluster with the same name as one of its private disk groups.
Action: Use the vxdg -n newname import diskgroup operation to rename
either the shared disk group on the master, or the private disk group on the slave.
