Enabling a Controller
The controller Enable procedure enables I/O to a controller. (If your
system supports the DMP feature, and if DMP is enabled, then the
Enable procedure also restores access to the paths associated with a
controller.)
To enable a controller
Step 1. Select the controller to be enabled.
Step 2. Choose Actions > Enable.
Step 3. Complete the Enable Controller dialog box as follows:
When you have provided all necessary information in the dialog box,
click OK.
Options • To enable all enclosures (disk arrays)
associated with this controller, select All
Enclosures.
• To enable specific enclosures associated
with this controller, enter the enclosure
names in the Selected Enclosures field.
